Plantin-Moretus Museum

Storytelling, Design

Briefing

The Plantin-Moretus Museum is the only museum listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the original home and printing workshop of the Plantin-Moretus publishing family, located in the heart of Antwerp. As a visitor, you’ll discover the story of three hundred years of family history and entrepreneurship: featuring the oldest printing presses in the world, family portraits painted by family friend Peter Paul Rubens, and the original Garamond typeface that can be found on every computer. The stories need to come alive again, and the modern design should support this. They are not looking for an old-fashioned, dusty approach but a design that fits today’s consumer. They will start the series with the exceptional story of Christophe Plantin and his expertise. That’s why they are approaching you as Deviner. You will be responsible for creating this interactive online experience.
