Briefing

How do we engage people and make it clear that Abby is not just a place to observe, but above all a place to do, to create, and to connect? How can the concept of the City Living — and more specifically the Atelier and the Salon —be presented to the public in a way that fosters familiarity and sparks enthusiasm, while alsolowering the barrier for people to truly engage with these spaces, contribute ideas, andactively help shape the programme? Making connection with art/the museum is open toeveryone.

Description

For this project, I developed an engaging digital experience for ABBY, a contemporary art space in Kortrijk. The design focuses on fostering community interaction and creativity, aligning with ABBY's mission to be a hub for artistic expression and connection. ABBY ECHO is an installation that encourages people to share something in a safe environment. It can be anything they want: a thought, a story, a feeling, an idea... Anything that matters to them. After contributing their input, they could follow a line on the floor, that leads them to a an artwork that visualizes all the emotions that were shared. This is a way to share your ECHO, and everyone will see it in an anonymous way.
